Last Trip South

It was Greg's last weekend before the move. Michelle began her Sweden job 2 weeks before. We made a quick trip, spending 2 nites in Columbia. 1 last trip to the street fair, the SC Farmers market and a military museum with a D-Day exhibit. We sat and talked through 2 thunderstorms. It was so nice.

Home Boy

After Chris' townhouse sold the first day on the market, he found a sweet little house on East Brockway with a fenced in backyard.  The one story house with a garage and basement is perfect for both Chris and Hank.  Since the people who bought his house bought most of his furniture, Chris got a gray sectional couch and modern tables.  We painted his kitchen cabinets gray and he got a black range.  The back yard and porch is a perfect fair weather haven.  Chris planted flowers and even got a bird feeder.  I got Hank a larger swimming pool where he can go wild rolling and jumpin at the hose.  Bob got him a lawn mower.  The house is only a few miles from ours and Bob weed eats.

May Cards

My lifelong friend Nancy celebrated a birthday this month.  While we never looked liked the ladies in the image, we were always happy when together.

My young friend Rebekah had her third child this month.  Seems like I just went to her wedding (some 5-6 years ago).  Welcome Caleb!

For my friend Debbie, a former colleague.  Debbie is from my era, a genuine talented and sweet lady.  I think of her often.

A fellow dietitian, Chris retired from the hospital where I worked after 38 years of service.  This card and gift is for her.
