A few weeks ago I received a message via Ancestry.com from a descendant of the Bob's side of the family asking if we could identify anyone in the folder marked "Gay Family". We were delighted to find pictures of Bob's Dad when he was a young adult. This photo of Bob's Mom and Dad is priceless.

That is to cool that you are connecting with extended family through Ancestry.com. I recently joined myself, took the DNA test and was immediately connected with 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th cousins in Europe. Like you, I'm learning so much and collecting new photos. Those photos inspired me to create my first altered book with vintage photos. I've only just begun connecting with my heritage and creating my book, and am looking forward to meeting new family. Enjoy the ride Cindy.....thanks for sharing.

Absolutely gorgeous Cindy. I love the stories you tell with each page. I hope you write some of these stories on the back of the layouts or something for future generations.
