Beautiful Fall

October was warm and beautiful. We took rides in the area and enjoyed sitting on our front deck enjoying our surroundings.

We spent a day at Tygart Lake.  The lake is down, yet some boats remain.

Tygart River flows into Valley Falls, so we drove there too.

We send pictures to the kids, so I'll include those here too.

Even though we don't eat a lot, I still love the farmers markets, where I've met friends. I was delighted to find these brussel sprouts on a stick at the Oakland Farmers Market. I was able to use my fun veggie napkins gifted from lifelong friend Vicki Green.

Our neighbor Jeff cut trees in his lower lot so that they wouldn't fall on our house.  He put a lot of money into helping us and we appreciated that.

One day we visited Friendship Hill, a nearby National Park near Point Marion, Pa.

My walks down the hill continue when I always see something pretty.

Here's hoping we feel good as the time changes and winter approaches. I'll feel good looking at the loveliness that surrounds us.
