I love green
My sister Terry's 2 oldest sons have a restaurant in Keyser, WV called Clancy's Irish Pub. I love to pick up trinkets from the St. Patrick's Day season to pass onto them. I was unsure what to do with my own Shamrock paper when I read Amanda Probst's suggestion in her "Month by Month Scrapbooking" book: "Your favorite green items". That was a perfect theme for the spring flower and healthy food pictures I'd already taken. Green really is my favorite color!

Hat Trick
Our oldest son, Greg, has become accustomed to my picture taking and stopped to let me photograph him leaving our house after his birthday dinner.
Journaling: "In the blink of an eye--it's 20 years later--and the little boy in the JFK Jr. hat is a graduate student in a toboggan. I love them both." (1989 & 2009)
Keeps Going
"In my mind, I'm 20", said my Dad to his son-in-law Scott as he hammered on frozen coal clusters, breaking them apart to carry into the furnace. Dad does whatever it takes to keep the family business, Reeves Motor Company, up and running. That includes maintaining an old coal fueled furnace during the winter months.
I took the picture of him in February, 2009, on a visit to Maryland. The steep narrow steps down into the furnace room would be a challenge even to a 20 year old. But it keeps him going.
Journaling: "At age 86, Dad keeps the old furnace heating the garage by shoveling coal in it seven or eight times a day."
