Potomac Eagle

For Fathers Day Bob and I rode the Potomac Eagle Train.  We boarded in Romney, then ventured across Rt. 50 along the Potomac River and through a mountain trough.  We spotted eagles and hatchings along the 3 hour run.

In these photos, you can see some of the beauty of West Virginia.

Dedicated Date

On our drive back home from our Sunday picnic, Bob proclaimed this 3-year tradition as a "Dedicated Date".  His devotion to me goes much deeper than that.
  • He always comes home at the end of his shift.
  • He protects us from harm.
  • He sets a good example to his boys on how to treat women.
  • He helps me with all my endeavors-and enjoys them@
Here's Bob at our monthly Farmers Market Sampling.  Bob brings people in, fully explains the ingredients and promotes the farmers and my profession.  Most of all-he enjoys these times spent with me!

Gala

As historian for the West Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, I've had the pleasure of adding a visual history to the historical data compiled by the previous historian, Annabelle Cruise.  "Snapshots of the First 75 Years" is the resulting commemorative book.  I gave a summary at our 75th gala.  There were mementos and old friends present as well as the national president of AND.  Best of all-Bob was as my side.  2017

I am pictured with Annabelle Cruise and my good friend and mentor, Evelyn DiTrapano.
