Overlooking Home

Cooper's Rock State Forest is 10 miles east of Morgantown. During the Depression between 1936 and 1942, the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) built many structures in the forest often using durable American Chestnut wood from the trees. Bands of rockcliffs line the Cheat River Gorge on the horizon overlooking home. Easter 2011
