Life is not even near perfect for my aged parents, June and Jim, age 88 and 91, married 67 years. There are many worries, financial and health issues. But when I study these pictures, the smiles are real and the love is most definitely real.
These pictures were taken last Sunday. On my way back to Morgantown, I listened to George Strait and remembered these words to his song:
"Oh what a perfect day for loving you. . . when you're in my arms,
I've got sunshine and the sky's always blue."
